December 2017, UNESCO-IESALC Projections Bulletin

To UNESCO-IESALC, 2018 will represent a year of greater commitment to higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean. It will be a special year because the III Regional Conference on Higher Education (CRES in Spanish) will take place in Cordoba, Argentina. The event will achieve organizational efforts coming from 2014 and will draw up the roadmap of the sector for the next decade. In consequence, new phases will open in which we hope to continue counting with the support of regional specialists and actors who have helped us in recent times. We wish success and prosperity to all the educational community, expecting the achievement of shared goals and the emergence of new engagements towards a more just, equitable and peaceful society.
