| With the launching of the Weekly Debate, the ENLACES Portal opens a space for interaction among the actors in Higher Education as part of its efforts to promote regional integration and cooperation. This area for reflection will help spur ideas into action to consolidate the Latin American and Caribbean Higher Education Area (ENLACES).

Weekly Debate is a space where experts are available to answer questions regarding a specific topic in Higher Education. This space has included the participation of Dr. Lydia Emerencia, answering questions about the steps taken at the Caribbean Conference on Higher Education, Dr. Jamil Salmi, answering questions about the Challenges to Higher Education in the Caribbean, Dr. Pablo Rios, who responded to inquiries on the Latin American Doctorate in Education, Dr. Francisco Marmolejo, who answered questions on Trends in South-South and North-South Student Mobility. Similarly, forums have opened up on issues such as brain drain, interculturality and cultural diversity policies, accreditation and evaluation policies, as well as other current topics in Higher Education. Debate Semanal interrumpirá sus actividades durante la semana del 29 de marzo al 2 de abril Del 29 de marzo al 2 de abril, el Debate Semanal interrumpirá sus actividades debido al asueto de Semana Santa. Del 5 al 9 de abril Debate Semanal contará con la participación del Dr. Pablo Ríos, coordinador general del Doctorado Latinoamericano de Educación, respondiendo preguntas acerca del desarrollo del Doctorado Latinoamericano en Educación: políticas públicas y profesión docente.
